Tracey oversees Callan's Institutional Consulting Group.
Tracey Nykiel is a senior vice president and manager of Callan’s Institutional Consulting Group, based in our Chicago office. Tracey is a member of Callan’s Institute Advisory Committee.
Tracey brings extensive experience in the institutional investment management space, including roles in consultant relations, capital allocation, investment consulting, and manager research. Prior to joining Callan in June 2026, she worked as a managing director, lead consultant at IMA Advisory Services (Syntrinsic) where she focused on institutional client relationships, portfolio guidance, and business development. Before that, she was a consultant relations manager at Wellington Management Company and a senior client investment officer at Northern Trust Asset Management. She has also held senior consultant and manager research positions at RVK and Aon.
Tracey received her MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business with concentrations in finance, economics, management and organizational behavior, and entrepreneurship. She earned a BA in French, with honors, from Rutgers University. She also holds the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 65, Series 63, and Series 7 licenses.
