Bernie leads Callan's research efforts across European real estate, real estate secondaries, and real assets emerging managers.
Bernie Bazile, CAIA, is a senior vice president in Callan’s Real Assets Consulting Group. Bernie joined Callan in 2020, and her work spans strategic planning, portfolio construction, manager due diligence, and ongoing monitoring. Bernie leads Callan’s research efforts across European real estate, real estate secondaries, and real assets emerging managers. She serves as the lead consultant for multiple real assets clients, providing strategic guidance on the development and implementation of their programs. Bernie is a shareholder of the firm.
Bernie joined Callan from Juniper Square, where she was a strategic account director and industry principal. Prior to Juniper Square, Bernie was a capital markets consultant for 8Focus LLC. She also held private fund capital raising and institutional client service roles at Triton Pacific Capital, J.P. Morgan, and Commonfund. Bernie started her career at Cambridge Associates and CBRE Econometric Advisors.
Bernie earned a BA in economics from Tufts University and has earned the right to use the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst® designation.
