Sean assists with Callan's manager research efforts across real assets strategies for our Real Assets Consulting Group.
Sean Yamamoto, CFA, is an assistant vice president in Callan’s Real Assets Consulting Group. Sean joined the group in 2025, and his work spans strategic planning, portfolio construction, manager due diligence, and ongoing monitoring. Sean assists with Callan’s manager research efforts across real assets strategies, including core and non-core infrastructure. He supports multiple real assets clients, providing strategic guidance on the development and implementation of their programs.
Sean joined Callan in 2022 and previously worked in Callan’s Client Report Services group. Before that, he worked as a payroll coordinator at Aya Healthcare.
Sean received his BA in mathematics from Lewis & Clark College with minors in computer science and economics, and was a member of the basketball and track and field teams. He is a holder of the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation and is a member of CFA Institute and CFA Society San Francisco.
