Tammy brings nearly 15 years of investment experience to the Chicago consulting team.
Tammy Schmidt, CFA, is a senior vice president and consultant in Callan’s Chicago consulting office. She works with a variety of clients, including defined benefit and defined contribution plans, endowments, and foundations. Her client responsibilities include strategic planning and implementation, investment manager reviews, performance evaluation, continuing education, and the coordination of special projects.
Prior to joining Callan in March 2024, Tammy worked for J.P. Morgan Private Bank and J.P. Morgan Securities in various investment roles for nearly 15 years, most recently as an investment specialist providing comprehensive wealth management, banking, and custody services and solutions to institutional families and family offices.
Tammy graduated with a BBA in finance from Loyola University Maryland. She is a holder of the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation, and is a member of CFA Institute and CFA Society Chicago.
