Lauren leads real estate research as a member of Callan's Real Assets Consulting Group.
Lauren Sertich, CAIA, is the head of real estate research in Callan’s Real Assets Consulting Group. Lauren joined the group in 2010, and her work spans strategic planning, portfolio construction, manager due diligence, and ongoing monitoring. Lauren leads Callan’s research efforts for non-core real estate as well as alternative property types and timber. She serves as the lead consultant for multiple real assets clients, providing strategic guidance on the development and implementation of their programs. Lauren is a member of Callan’s Alternatives Review Committee and is a shareholder of the firm.
Lauren joined Callan in 2008 and previously worked in Callan’s Client Report Services group. Before that, Lauren was an equity research assistant for the media and entertainment sector at Cowen and Company LLC.
Lauren received a BA in environmental studies from Dartmouth College, where she was a member of the field hockey team. She also earned the right to use the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst® designation. She is a member of the board of directors at Be Inclusive, Inc. in Massachusetts.
