Denise is Callan's chief technology officer.

Denise W. Steele is the firm’s chief technology officer. She is responsible for Callan’s Client Report Services, Investment Database, Analytical Solutions (PEP) and Information Technology groups. She works with these teams, as well as Callan consultants, to continually enhance the systems and behind-the-scenes processes that ultimately benefit our clients. She is a member of Callan’s Management Committee and is a shareholder of the firm.

Denise joined Callan in 1988, first as a senior software developer, and then as head of information technology. Before coming to Callan, she developed software for the higher education industry and for a defense contractor.

Denise earned a BS in computer information systems with a minor in economics from James Madison University.
