Avery oversees Callan's Real Assets Consulting Group.
Avery A. Robinson, CAIA, is the head of Callan’s Real Assets Consulting Group. Avery joined Callan in 2008, and his work spans strategic planning, portfolio construction, manager due diligence, and ongoing monitoring. He has overall responsibility for Callan’s real assets consulting services, overseeing research and implementation across real estate, timber, infrastructure, and agriculture. He serves as the lead consultant for multiple real assets clients, providing strategic guidance on the development and implementation of their programs. Avery is a member of Callan’s Management Committee and Callan’s Diversity, Equity & Belonging Council. He is a shareholder of the firm.
Prior to joining Callan, Avery was an asset manager with the Real Estate Equity Group at Principal Global Investors.
Avery received his MBA and BS in engineering from the University of Iowa and has earned the right to use the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst® designation. Avery serves on the board of the National Association of Securities Professionals.
