Alvaro is a member of Callan's Implementation Solutions group and the head of digital assets research.
Alvaro Vega is a senior vice president in Callan’s Implementation Solutions group and head of digital assets research. His responsibilities include the intensive evaluation of global master custodians, transition managers, and digital assets service providers. Alvaro is also responsible for conducting on-site due diligence visits, developing optimal operations structures, as well as leading research and education around digital assets as the head of Callan’s Digital Assets Research Team. Alvaro is a member of Callan’s Diversity, Equity & Belonging Council and the Student Engagement Team. He is also a shareholder of the firm.
Alvaro joined the Implementation Solutions group in 2018 and previously worked in the Client Report Services group, which he joined in 2015.
Alvaro earned an MS in finance with honors from Saint Mary’s College of California and a BA in business management economics from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
