Laura lends her journalism and marketing background to the firm's communications efforts.
Laura M. Dawson is a vice president and member of Callan’s communications and marketing team. She manages the firm’s external and internal communications, including brand messaging, client communications, media relations, social media, content development, and collaborates on published research, internal communications, events, and more.
Laura is a shareholder of the firm and a member of Callan’s Diversity, Equity & Belonging Council. In 2022, she was recognized as a “Leader” in the DCIIA Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Awards.
Prior to joining Callan in 2018, Laura held various roles in marketing and communications, including senior copywriter, editor, and communications management positions at State Street Corporation, Natixis Global Asset Management, and Blue Cross & Blue Shield.
She earned a BA with honors in journalism and public relations from Northeastern University in Boston.
