Jeffrey D. Salyer, CFA, is a vice president on Callan’s West Coast consulting team. Based in the San Francisco office, he provides comprehensive support to clients in the areas of performance evaluation, strategic planning, implementation, and investment manager review in discretionary and non-discretionary capacities. He is a shareholder of the firm.
Jeff is the chair of Callan’s Student Engagement Team and a member of Callan’s Diversity, Equity & Belonging Council. In 2023, he was recognized as a “Rising Star” in the 2023 DCIIA Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Awards.
He originally joined Callan in 2016 as an analyst in the Client Report Services group where he was responsible for producing monthly and quarterly performance measurement reports for a variety of client types. In 2018, Jeff was promoted to the West Coast consulting team. Prior to Callan, Jeff held an internship at Dodge & Cox in San Francisco.
Jeff earned a BS with honors in business administration with a concentration in finance from Saint Mary’s College of California. While at Saint Mary’s, Jeff was the head manager for the Division 1 men’s basketball program. Jeff is a holder of the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation and is a member of CFA Institute and CFA Society San Francisco.
