Amy Jones is a senior vice president and co-manager of Callan’s Global Manager Research (GMR) group, which provides fundamental and statistical research on investment managers. She is responsible for the group's operational functions, and oversees the quantitative and qualitative analysis of investment managers and the production of client reports. Amy is a member of Callan’s Institute Advisory committee as well as the firm’s Diverse and Emerging Manager Committee. Amy is a shareholder of the firm.
Amy began her career at Callan in 1990 as a GMR analyst prior to joining the Independent Adviser Group (IAG) division when it was launched in 1992. She focused on manager research and client service within the IAG prior to leaving Callan in 1997 to pursue her MBA. Following business school, she spent a number of years as vice president of Charles Schwab's Managed Accounts group and later as a member of the research team at Wetherby Asset Management. Amy returned to Callan in February of 2010 as a senior vice President within IAG. She remained with IAG until her promotion to co-manager of GMR in January 2017.
Amy earned her MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, and graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a BA in history. She serves on the Investment Committee for San Domenico School.
