Callan Institute

Launched in 1980, the Callan Institute was the first forum to provide education to institutional investors. We offer practical, relevant, original research in an easily digestible format that includes industry-recognized surveys, timely blogs, live events, educational conferences, and “Callan College” workshops.

Published Research

Our research explores the questions and issues important to today’s institutional investors. Part of our commitment to our clients is providing timely insights and data on a wide variety of investment topics.

Institute Events

Each year we offer live events and webinars for our clients, including our National Conference in January (San Francisco), workshops in June and October (various locations), and the Fall Investment Manager Conference in September (San Francisco Bay Area).

The National Conference consists of general sessions with presentations by world, political, arts, science, and investment industry speakers. The general sessions are followed by smaller breakout sessions on timely industry topics led by Callan specialists. Attendees include plan/fund sponsors, investment managers, and Callan associates.

Workshops are focused on a particular investment topic or issue, and the Fall Conference offers educational sessions geared toward investment managers. It is conducive to in-depth discussions with industry colleagues and Callan professionals.

The "Callan College"

The Center for Investment Training, better known as the “Callan College,” was founded in 1994 to provide clients and non-clients with basic-to-intermediate-level instruction. Contact Kathleen Cunnie to learn more about our customized sessions and continuing education credits.
